Peppermint.

It made her smile. Then it made her lick her smile. And smile again. The smoothness of her mouth did not escape her even then. Even without the gloss, they were…soft. She rubbed them together for a good last taste before promising herself she would leave them alone. The scent grew stronger every time she smiled, bringing up his memory more than a dozen times during her shift. Even then, as a guest swept into the lobby and graced her with a glance, she smiled and remembered his scent.   
“How can I help you?”

Missed YouShe watched him turn away, following his every footstep with her eyes; she followed every heartbeat with her soul.   
The air grew colder then, if only to her. Nothing else moved, save his legs walking, his hips moving slightly from side to side, and his hand at his side, swinging to keep his pace. His head did not turn, his lips did not speak. He left.   
The door closed behind him silently, though any other day it would have slammed into place. She heard nothing, her eyes straying to the window pane to watch the flood of tears cascade. The bit of glass became her savior then, the main concentration of all of her. It held Missed You
